Learn to Round Dance

Round Dancing is cued social ballroom dancing. Dancers are taught the basic dance steps with a cuer prompting a sequence of choreographed steps in time with the music. Dance steps include Waltz, Two-Step, Foxtrot and Rumba.

55s Zest4Life’ 2018 program.
Participants will be taught basic Rumba steps and will be dancing around
the room by the end of the session!
Beginner Classes will be run by our Teacher/Cuer, Alison Tuddenham.

In addition to the Teacher/Cuer, experienced Round Dancers will be present to assist you. They will also demonstrate Waltz and 2-Step dances.
(If there is an odd number of men or women, you may have to learn an opposite gender's steps.)
Smart casual dress. Smooth-soled shoes (no runners). Tea, coffee & biscuits provided. Parking available at the rear of the Hall in the Library Carpark off Park Crescent. Bring your friends along !
Alison will be running Beginners Classes in the Boronia Progress Hall for 6 weeks. These will be at 7.30 – 8.30pm on Friday evenings, commencing on Friday 18th May. The cost is $60, to be paid upon registration. Basic Rumba and Waltz dance steps will be taught.
